  The lines here are always pretty long, but tolerable as long as you aren't buying ice cream (because it *WILL* melt before you get out of the store), but today was beyond the pale. I have never abandoned a cart of groceries before today (I did put the cold stuff back so they wouldn't spoil). I stopped in at around 5pm today to pick up a few things and all of the checkout lines were literally 15-16 people deep. It was the most ridiculous thing that I have ever seen in a retail store on a day that wasn't the day before a major holiday or Black Friday. This may be the closest grocery store to me, but given how long the lines are on a regular basis, I'm likely going to avoid shopping here as much as possible from now on. It's not worth the wait.
