  Read the reviews carefully, and you will realize that you should pay attention to the 5 star reviews and totally disregard the 1 star reviews. Those individuals assigning the low rating actually did not make firearms purchases. They are not qualified and authorized to do so, since they are not employed by or retired from law enforcement or the military, or otherwise employed in public safety or the criminal justice system. You can't truly rate a business unless you actually purchased something from them and had a valid business transaction. Hurt feelings don't count. These purchase requirements are generally set by the firearms manufacturers and for valid reasons. Customers to whom Markl's sell firearms are mostly in public service - the use of the firearm is work-related or for self-protection due to the nature of work - and have met rigorous standards and training to get these jobs. As another poster said, go to your local gun shop or a big-box store, but don't rip Markl's because you were not eligible to do business with them. If someone is not mature or intelligent enough to understand and respect the rules, that clearly shows why they don't work in LE and probably shouldn't have a gun. But, if you do work in public safety/LE, this is the place to go in Pittsburgh. The selection and pricing is great, as is the customer service. If I didn't see it, they'd try to order it. All of the employees are polite and courteous, and take the time to talk to you, offer their opinions and educate you on products, if needed. I have been doing business with Markl's for 20 years. I will enthusiastically continue to not only do business with them, but recommend them without reservation to any QUALIFIED customers as well.
